This 19,000 sq.ft. major shell renovation providing retail/office tenant space acts as a pivot point where Portland’s Alphabet district meets the northwest edge of the Pearl District. The renovation focused on creating a more substantial street presence for pedestrians and bringing in much more natural light by cutting and enlarging openings throughout the existing masonry facade. A small cafe at the Triangle Building, across the street from a Montessori school, extends the pedestrian activity of both the NW neighborhood and the Pearl District.

Reclaimed structural elements from the building were reused both as finish materials and as structural members.
